Hello! My name is Aliyana, and I'm an artist living in Conifer, CO.

​

After graduating from Pomona College with a degree in Studio Art, I moved to Brooklyn to pursue painting. In addition to making landscape paintings, I assisted other artists and began teaching art fundamentals at the New York School of Interior Design. 

 

Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with rock climbing. After ten years in New York, I moved into a van with my partner to greedily consume every scenic vista I could, making quick captures in ink, watercolor, and graphite. Those drawings are in the "On the Road" section.

Now I am permanently settled in the Front Range and back to oil painting, alongside teaching remotely.
